Its developer has seamlessly integrated key landmarks, terraforming enhancements, and updated lighting to bring the area closer to a realistic portrayal, addressing the lackluster default auto-generation. As a dedicated flight simulation expert with decades of experience, I noticed a noticeable improvement in the city’s skyline and character, making it a richer environment to explore.

Noteworthy features include iconic structures such as the Vasco da Gama and 25 de Abril bridges, the Cristo Rei monument, and famous districts like Belém and Sintra. The pack also introduces life-like AI elements, including ships and public transport, making virtual flights both immersive and visually engaging. Version 1.0 already feels polished, and future updates are likely to refine the experience further. In my opinion, this add-on is a remarkable upgrade, giving Lisbon the attention it deserves within the simulator world.

A massive freeware mega pack containing vast upgrades of the scenery including and surrounding Lisbon/Lisboa, the capital city of Portugal for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 release.

Lisbon bridge and statue showing after installing the scenery. ?This pack, developed by the freeware developer who goes by the name of Camiba includes upgrades that improve upon the default MSFS auto-generation of the Lisbon area.

The default (as we are noticing in many cities) was poorly represented by Asobo/Microsoft's AI generation and this add-on aims to bring Lisbon back to a more true-to-life depiction.

Important buildings, stadiums, churches, palaces, bridges along with statues and extras such as terraforming, custom lighting, and AI including ships, public transport, boats have all been included in this pack.

This add-on is currently v1.0 with (possibly) further updates expected to be issued by the developer.

How to install this mod

MSFS scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Locate your MSFS Community folder

All MSFS add-ons live in the Community folder. Microsoft Store / Game Pass version: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\. Steam version: %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\. Tip: enable Developer Mode in MSFS to see your exact Community folder path.
Copy the scenery package into Community

Drag the extracted scenery folder into your Community folder. Photogrammetry and large mesh packs can be 1GB+ — ensure you have disk space.
Restart MSFS

Close MSFS completely and relaunch. The new content appears in the Content Manager, on the World Map, or in the aircraft/livery selector.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
