Air France’s updated livery brings a clean, contemporary look to the Airbus A340-200 in FSX, adding airline-accurate exterior textures that suit long-haul operations and screenshots alike. Textures are made for Thomas Ruth’s A340-200 and require TOM340.ZIP, pairing neatly with the model’s virtual cockpit and systems.

Installation Instructions

1. Place the 'Texture.AFNEW' folder into your Flight Sim X directory, under ...SimObjectsAirplanesTom_A340-200
2. Open the aircraft.cfg file and paste the following text into the file after the previous aircraft repaint, ensuring to replace [fltsim.x] with the next number in sequence, e.g. [fltsim.9]

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D livery / repaint

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
