Continental-liveried Boeing 787-8 brings modern wide-body operations to FSX with a sleek exterior model, refined wing structure, smooth control-surface animation, and a glass-display virtual cockpit. Updated Animated Ground Servicing adds deployable stairs, cargo handling, and ramp vehicles that sync with standard commands for believable turnaround scenes.
This complete freeware package features the Boeing 787-8 in Continental colors, carefully crafted by developer Camil Valiquette. It integrates modern cockpit elements, a sleek exterior profile, and a set of ground services that work seamlessly within FSX, offering a deeply immersive flight simulation experience. Version 2 brings a refined aircraft structure and includes updated Animated Ground Servicing (AGS) to ensure realistic operations on the tarmac.

The Boeing 787-8 from Camil Valiquette (CamSim) features an advanced wing architecture that optimizes lift while maintaining aerodynamic efficiency. Moreover, this version integrates updated control surfaces for smoother handling during standard flight maneuvers. The cockpit reflects the 787’s modern instrumentation, including glass displays and intuitive flight management systems that simplify preflight checks.
One of the most significant additions is the Animated Ground Servicing functionality. The aircraft includes deployable passenger stairs, cargo loaders, and other service vehicles designed to appear whenever you activate specific commands. In FSX, press Shift+E to control the passenger doors, then use Shift+D to operate the cargo doors. Additionally, press Shift+C to toggle animations for ground service equipment. These interactions help simulate realistic aircraft handling between flights.
Note: If an AGS-compatible aircraft from this developer is already present in your simulator, you can skip installing the Effects package again.
To ensure all ground services function properly, map the following controls under FSX Options:
These bindings allow the doors and service equipment to open, close, and operate without conflicts. The animations reflect typical airline ramp activities for a medium-to-long haul airliner, enhancing immersion.

Continental Boeing 787-8.
The Boeing 787-8 represents a major leap in aircraft design, especially for long-haul routes. This variant in Continental livery suits both interstate and international flight plans. The wide-body airframe, composite materials, and advanced engines deliver an efficient operating profile in real-world aviation, and the add-on aims to replicate those qualities within FSX. With attention to flight dynamics and system details, the developer has captured the unique characteristics that set the 787 apart from earlier designs.
All modeling and texturing for this 787-8 are courtesy of Camil Valiquette, creator of CamSim. Feel free to integrate this freeware package into your virtual hangar and use it for extended flights or short regional hops under Continental livery. The add-on focuses on realism while preserving manageable performance in FSX, making it an excellent choice for enthusiasts looking to explore modern wide-body operations.

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.
FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.The archive 788v2co0.zip has 31 files and directories contained within it.
This list displays the first 500 files in the package. If the package has more, you will need to download it to view them.
