Lancair Silver Mist. A highly modified version of Robert Christopher's Lancair in a high luster shine. This effect achieved with the use of a modified alpha channel and light bending process formula 14. This technique created and used by Rooks Silva Design Group (RSDG). Aircraft is entitled "Silver Mist". Textures by Mark Rooks.

To install this aircraft:

As always back up any original files.

1.Unzip downloaded folders to your desktop or temporary directory of your choice.

2.Copy the "Silver Mist " folder and paste it in the main aircraft folder.

By default the main aircraft folder is located at:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSx\SIM Objects /Aircraft .

This "Lancair" is very fast and fun to fly .

This aircraft has:

air brakes, use if needed

Textures created by Mark "Fire Ball" Rooks.

Enjoy your new repaint and air file.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
