De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver pilots can refresh the classic bush plane with three crisp liveries: C-FMPT, C-GFDI, and N741RS, tailored for the default model’s exterior and virtual cockpit. Designed for FSX, these textures-only repaints preserve the stock aircraft setup and require the default Beaver installation.

1/Save the Beaver DHC2 aircraft.cfg

2/Unzip the contents of this zip file to a temporary folder.

3/Move textures folders into your FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/Beaver DHC2.

4/Open aircraft.cfg in a text editor and copy this section below :

If you don’t like reflection effect you can change for the DXT1 texture.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
