Lunch On Catalina is a scenic FSX mission that starts at Van Nuys, detours to Santa Monica to pick up a friend, then heads to Catalina Island for a relaxed lunch run and sightseeing over the Los Angeles area. It includes a custom reward file for added completion satisfaction and a light, narrative-driven flight plan.

Lunch On Catalina Mission.

Unzip all the files to your FSX Missions folder and enable "use folders" option.

Move the "lunchreward.RWD" file to your FSX REWARDS folder if you want to get the reward!!!

If FSX crashes on you when you go to this mission's briefing, then go to another mission's briefing, then go BACK to the mission list and then go to the briefing for this mission. It will work this way for sure.

FSX / P3D mission

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.
Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
