FSX Race to France-Uruguay Soccer World Cup 2010 Mission

Concorde fans can relive a high-stakes dash to South Africa for the France vs Uruguay World Cup kickoff, framed as a historically inspired mission with timed objectives and on-screen briefings in FSX. It recreates a fictional race to make the 8:30 pm match and requires a Concorde package, engine start fix, and FACT scenery.

Race to France-Uruguay Soccer World Cup 2010. This is a mission of an historical nature. If you have ever flown in the Concorde or just admire it, you will enjoy this mission. It recreates a fictional race to watch the World Cup Soccer France-Uruguay 12 June 2010 on 08:30 pm South African Time. By Robbie Albers.

The following zip files for the mission needs to be found on the net and installed:

Concorde Engine Fix to make startup possible.
Concorde package for FSX for the aircraft installation.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the zip file into the mission directory of your FSX. Make sure your mission show captioning is ticked on. Install the FACT scenery as indicated by the creator Hermann Kuhne, thanks for creating the scenery. If you want you can also download the areoworx scenery, but be carefull you will not make it on time for the game.

That's all. Enjoy the mission. I did, creating it.

FSX / P3D mission

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.
Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
