Editorial

When I was alerted to this mod by a friend, I let out a visible squeal of excitement. Sad as that may be, I love fire engines. I spent around time fire engines as a child, and so they have left a bit of an impression on me. So, when I got a chance to add a new Rosenbauer Panther to my copy of FSX, you can imagine that I jumped at the chance!

Designed with an intricate precision, the developer of this – Mitsuya Hamaguchi – has done an absolutely sublime job. It’s a fine pick, and with the Free Paint re-paint job, it looks even better than it did beforehand.

This comes with the full 9/11 version, as well as the normal version of the Rosenbauer Panther fire engine.

A Delightful Novelty

I was a big fan of being able to add little things like this into simulation. I found very quickly that the work that had gone into this project was very impressive indeed. The team have got everything from the seat positioning and uniforms of the drivers to the front bumpers and wheels spot on.

While it might not be an essential add-on for any simulation experience, it certainly makes sure that you can get to enjoy a new kind of airport experience. It’s nice to have authentic engines moving around the place, so it’s pretty nice to be able to include such an object into the simulation.

Again, hardly changes the entire simulation, but a cool little addition to have!

This is so fun to drive around the airport at high speed I highly recommend this model you can drive on roads and over bridges and it's just a change of scene.
