Chitina Airport (CXC) brings a detailed Alaskan bush-strip setting to Microsoft Flight Simulator X, featuring a hangar, FBO, loading area, static aircraft, heli pad, and a floatplane dock off the runway’s north end. A downed aircraft and stranded pilot scene downriver adds an extra sightseeing challenge.

Chitina Airport (CXC), Alaska (AK). The airport is a bush strip so larger aircraft may have some trouble getting in. There is a hangar, FBO, loading/unloading area, static aircraft, a helicopter pad and a float plane dock off the northern end of the runway. This scenery also includes a downed aircraft and pilot a few miles down river. By Daniel Kemmer.

How to find the downed aircraft/pilot:
Takeoff facing south, and follow the river south and look for a campfire, but fly low or you'll miss it!

Installation:
Place the bushstripchitina.bgl file in [Drive Name]:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery.

Note:
If this file causes any problems with FSX (it shouldn't) I'm not at fault.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
