Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Alcester and Belle-Vue Farm Strips UK. Scenery Addon to A Day On The Farm and A Day On The Farm 2. Designed for use with Just Flight/Horizon's VFR Sceneries. Two more exciting grass strips accurately aligned with Just Flight/Horizon's 10 meter mesh. Includes sounds and vehicle traffic. Requires FSX, A Day On The Farm and A Day On The Farm-2, UKVFR and Rwy12 add-ons. By Neil Birch.

INSTALLATION:

YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED A DAY ON THE FARM and A DAY ON THE FARM-2 FSX for all the necessary scenery and texture files plus you will need UKVFR Addon and RWY12.

Aligned for Justflight/horizon VFR SCENERY.

Unzip the zip file FS.zip into an empty directory.

You will now have 3 folders 1/ ALCESTER-BELLE-VUE \2/Scenery and 3/ Texture/

Copy all the SCENERY files *.bgl (not the folder) into your original ADOTF Scenery folder, overwrite any files when prompted.

Copy all the TEXTURE files *.bmp/*.dds (not the folder) into the original ADOTF TEXTURE folder, overwrite any files when prompted (a lot of the earlier texture files have been updated).

Airfields can be selected from your World-Goto Airport menu.

ALCESTER AIRFIELD
Located 1/2nm North of Alcester in Warwickshire, England, It has a grass strip running North/South 960 x 19m. There are telegraph poles to the North of the strip, you can either land short or overfly the wires. A road crosses the strip and there is a small bump where it crosses. No fuel.

BELLE-VUE AIRFIELD
A popular field with ga pilots located 6nm S.S.W. of Barnstaple England. The field is easy to find as it is just South of a large radio/tv transmitter (if you are using UK ADDONS please delete the file IS-Bellevue-tower.bgl) No fuel. I have incuded extracts (with permission) from Bryan Lockyears book ` FARM STRIPS AND PRIVATE AIRFIELDS' guide.

In this latest update, all of the terrain settings are as accurate as possible, all the fields have sound (you will have to download the `Sounds Update' Seperately) and now you also have road traffic, its not brilliant but there's only so many hours in the day.

This is freeware and includes other peoples work so do not sell it.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
