FSX / P3D scenery

FSX Middletown CT Scenery

Middletown, Connecticut scenery brings the Connecticut River corridor south of Hartford into sharper focus with custom object placement for a more believable VFR experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It uses a single BGL to add local landmarks and riverside detail, and requires Flight1 UT-FSX USA for best alignment and terrain accuracy.

Middletown CT. Middletown is located right on the Connecticut River just south of Hartford. By Dick Kittredge.

Middletown CT Scenery.

Middletown CT Scenery.

I created this scenery using Flight1, Instant Scenery program which is not require to be installed on your system to view the scenery.

In order for the objects to be placed properly you should have the program from Flight1 called UT-FSX_Usa. This program greatly enhances the terrain in FSX.

Installation: Simply place the MiddletownCT.bgl file in your Addon scenery/scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
