Muscat International Airport (OOMS) brings Oman’s main gateway to life in FSX with a corrected coastline, refreshed road network, and improved Muscat landclass for more accurate city surroundings. A photoreal airport base and custom-modeled terminal and key buildings, built from available reference imagery, sharpen the approach and ground experience.

Scenery Muscat International Airport (OOMS). This is Muscat Airport in Oman. The coastline around the airport is fixed. Also has new road network, new landclass for Muscat, photoreal airport base, all the main building custom designed when pictures were available. By Frits Beyer and Jacques Botha.

Instructions :

1.Unzip Muscat Airport(OOMS).zip to a temp folder.

2.Copy the "Muscat Airport(OOMS)" folder to your FSX/scenery folder,and the effect to the FSX effects folder.

3.Run FSX.

4.On the main page go to "settings".

5.Now click on "scenery library".

6.Now click on "Add area" and search for the scenery folder.

7.Double click on the scenery folder and look for the"Muscat Airport(OOMS)" folder.

7.NB !!!!!! click on this folder only once ! and then click on "OK".

8.The scenery will now load !

9.Go to free flight and choose "OOMS" to start your flight !

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
