FSX Luneville-Croismare Scenery

Lunéville-Croismare (LFQC) brings eastern France to life for VFR flying with photoreal ground and seasonal variants, refreshed landclass across the town, plus the château and key landmarks. The airfield adds 47 custom models, animated windsock, static traffic, and detailed apron clutter in FSX, with optional compatibility alongside nearby LFEZ and LFSN sceneries.

Luneville-Croismare (France) and airfield LFQC. Photoreal ground with seasonal variants, landclass redraw of all the city, includes the castle and surrounding buildings, useful for VFR flight. Airport has 47 custom models, animated windsock, static planes, etc. VAC and doc included. Works with FSX and FSXA, compatible with LFEZ_FSX.ZIP and LFSN_FSX.ZIP that are few miles away. By D. Bur.

This is an complete rework of my old LFQC scenery for FS2K2. It has been designed with SketchUp, SceneryBuilder, Airport design Editor and ModelConverterX. Thanks to their authors for their fantastic work.Credit goes to Arno Gerretsen for the animated windsock.

CONTENTS:

The city of Lunéville (East France), its famous castle and its local airfield LFQC. Buildings, hangars, fuel area, static planes, cars, trucks... Beware of the birds flying over the grass runway ! Airfield closed at night: no lights aids !

FILES:

- readme.txt: this file.
- file_id.diz: brief description for webmasters
- lfqc_fsx.gif: thumbnail image for webmasters.
- LFQC folder: main scenery folder
- LFQC/scenery folder: BGL scenery files and photoreal ground.
- LFQC/texture folder: all required texture files.

INSTALLATION:

1. Extract the archive in a temp folder.
2. Move the LFQC folder (and all its contents) where you are used to store your add-on sceneries.
3. Start FSX and declare the scenery in the scenery library.
4. You're done.

UNINSTALLATION:

Delete the LFQC folder and remove the scenery from the scenery library inside FSX..

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
