Carpentras–E. Sourmille Airport (LFNH) brings Provence to life between Avignon and Mont Ventoux with detailed GA and gliding facilities, including concrete and grass runways, glider tow surfaces, and hangars in a towerless field shaped by the northerly Mistral. Built for FSX SP2 Acceleration and compatible with UTXEurope and GEXEurope.

Carpentras (LFNH), an airport between Avignon and Mt. Ventoux, in Provence, south of France. By Jean-Pierre Kozerawski.

Scenery compatible with FSX SP2 Acceleration, UTXEurope and GEXEurope.

LFNH-Carpentras-E.Sourmille between Avignon et Mt Ventoux, in Provence, south of France. The airport has one concrete runway and one grass runway and has a short take off surface for gliders. Multiple hangars available for gliders and GA but no control tower. LHNH has a glider school "VELIVOLE" which organises a race every years called "Coupe du Ventoux"(The Ventoux Cup). It is a 200 mile flight around the nearly Alps. The prevaling wind in the Provence is the "Mistral" which blows from the north. Your departure is therefore mainly runway31.

Installation:

1. Unzip the file on your desktop.

2. Move the file “LFNH” in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\Provence.

3. Start FSX, then in addon library, Provence add the new scenery LFNH.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
