Carenado, the developers of high quality aircraft for FSX, FS2004 and recently X-Plane have announced the launch of another brand called Alabeo; providing "lower priced" aircraft and add-ons for a range of flight simulator packages.
Fernando Herrera stated in an email to Fly Away Simulation:
This new company is a joint venture between a young talented team and Carenado.
This is a brand new company and will produce its own product, will have its own team, will have its own support channels and will be focused in developing elements for flight simulators to help create a fun and immersive flight experience. This means the type of products will be different of the ones already produced and commercialized by Carenado.
Prices of ALABEO´s product will be lower than the ones at Carenado because products will have fewer elements, type of aircraft will be different and the way customer will use these products is different, but the quality of the models, textures, effects, gauges and flight dynamics will be high.
Many of the administrative areas of the ALABEO as well as the commercial side of the company will be run by me. This means an interaction similar to the one we already have with Carenado. In regards to this, I would like to know if you are willing to have Alabeo´ s product in your page having similar conditions that we already have with Carenado.
At the beginning Alabeo will release aerobatic aircraft like the Pitts S-2S and Sukhoi.
We are very excited with this new brad and we are pretty sure that this new brand will be a success.
Alabeo has been brought forth with the aim of bringing a different type of flying experience to people who may otherwise never get the chance to experience it. Alabeo products combine the joy, the challenge and the FUN of flying.
The company uses advanced computer modeling techniques, digital texturing, and state-of-the-art programming procedures, taking advantage of the latest features in the most popular flight simulators.
The team is a group of young and very talented modelers, designers, aviation experts, and pilots, with a unique and clear mission of developing a fun and immersive flight experience.
