Which FSX bush plane should I choose?

The Twin Otter is the strongest choice for scheduled utility flying between remote communities and islands. It carries the feel of a working transport, but pilots moving up from the Cub or CH 701 must account for greater weight, speed and stopping distance.

How do I install a freeware bush plane in FSX?
- Extract the archive outside FSX. Do not run the aircraft directly from the compressed file.

SimObjects\Airplanesbeneath your FSX installation. - Missing textures: confirm that every repaint has a corresponding texture folder and valid entry in
aircraft.cfg. - Floatplane behaving badly on land or water: start from a suitable seaplane location and verify the amphibious gear position. Wheels belong down on a hard runway and up for a water landing.
- Disappointing STOL performance: reduce fuel and payload, use the documented flap setting and control approach speed precisely. A heavily loaded aircraft flown too fast will not reproduce an impressive demonstration landing.
For believable bush flying, match the aircraft to the surface rather than choosing by appearance alone. Taildraggers reward careful rudder work, amphibians add gear and water-rudder checks, and ski aircraft remain limited by how FSX represents the underlying terrain.
