Where are the UK FS2004 scenery downloads?

Which type of UK scenery should I choose?
Choose a full airport package for visual detail, or an AFCAD when you mainly need corrected runways, taxiways, parking and AI traffic operation.

An AFCAD is not a complete visual airport. It can make parking and AI traffic more accurate while leaving the default terminals and surrounding terrain largely unchanged.
How do I install UK scenery in FS2004?
Most FS2004 scenery is installed by extracting it outside the simulator, checking its folder structure and then registering the package through the Scenery Library.
- Extract the archive first. Do not point FS2004 at a ZIP file or copy the unopened archive into
Addon Scenery. - Read the supplied instructions. A normal scenery area contains a
sceneryfolder and may also contain atexturefolder. Some AFCAD packages instead instruct you to place individual BGL files in an existing active scenery folder. - Back up replaced files. If a package asks to overwrite or disable anything, preserve the original outside every active
sceneryfolder. - Add the scenery area. Open FS2004’s Scenery Library, use Add Area and select the package’s parent folder rather than its inner
sceneryfolder. - Set the priority. Put a detailed airport above broad regional or global scenery covering the same location, then restart FS2004 and inspect the airport.
Do not assume FSX scenery will work in FS2004. The two simulators use different scenery features and formats, so a package should explicitly state FS2004, FS9 or FS2004-compatible.
Why does the downloaded airport look wrong or not appear?
A missing or broken airport usually results from an incorrect folder level, an inactive Scenery Library entry, a missing dependency or a conflicting AFCAD.
- No visible change: confirm that the registered folder directly contains the package’s
sceneryand optionaltexturesubfolders. - Missing buildings or black textures: reinstall the texture folder and check the documentation for required object libraries.
- Duplicate runways or misplaced parking: search active scenery folders for another AFCAD covering the same ICAO airport. Keep only one third-party airport layout active.
- AI aircraft behave incorrectly: an incompatible or duplicated AFCAD may be sending traffic along overlapping taxiways or to unsuitable stands.
- Terrain cuts through the airport: check for conflicting regional mesh, landclass or flatten files and adjust scenery priority before removing anything.
A mistake we see constantly is installing several UK AFCAD collections together and leaving every version active. Keep track of which package controls each airport, and disable competing files by moving them to a backup folder outside active scenery rather than deleting them.
