Learn how Train Sim World Creators Club works, subscribe to liveries and scenarios, publish creations, and fix content that does not appear.
Creators Club is Train Sim World’s built-in community hub for sharing user-made liveries and Scenario Planner scenarios. Sign in with a Dovetail Live account, open Creators Club, subscribe to a compatible creation, then select it in the relevant train, route or scenario menu. You must own every required add-on.
What can you download from Creators Club?
Creators Club distributes two main types of community creation through the game rather than as manually installed mod files.

It does not provide new routes, locomotive physics, sounds, cabs or track. Those require official add-ons or separate PC editor content. Creators Club also does not give you paid DLC used by another player’s creation.
How do I download and use a Creators Club creation?
- Sign in to Dovetail Live. Creators Club needs an online account to browse, subscribe and publish.
- Open Creators Club. Browse or search for a livery or scenario, using filters where available to narrow the results by route or train.
- Check the requirements. Confirm that you own and have installed the exact route, locomotive and other add-ons listed for the creation. A similarly named locomotive is not necessarily the same compatible model.
- Select Subscribe. Train Sim World manages the creation through your account; there is no archive to extract or folder to copy manually.
- Let the game synchronise. Return to the main menu if necessary before looking for the subscribed item.
- Launch the creation. Open a scenario from its Creators Club entry or the relevant route and scenario menus. For a livery, select the compatible train and choose the design in the livery selector. Menu names and placement differ slightly between Train Sim World releases, but the subscription process is the same. A common mistake we see is searching for the creation under every version of a locomotive class; liveries are tied to a specific in-game vehicle or formation.
How do I publish my own livery or scenario?
Create and save the content inside Livery Designer or Scenario Planner first, then publish it from the Creators Club area.
- Build and test the creation. Check a livery from several camera angles, or drive the complete scenario to catch pathing and timing problems.
- Open your creations. In Creators Club, find the section containing your saved work and select the item you want to share.
- Complete the publishing details. Add the requested name, description, preview and compatibility information.
- Review the content rules. Do not upload offensive material, personal information or artwork and branding that you have no right to distribute.
- Publish the item. Once accepted and available, other players can find and subscribe to it. You can later unpublish your work, although doing so can leave existing subscribers without access.
Creators Club is for creations made with the supported in-game tools. It cannot turn an external PC mod or editor project into console-compatible content.
Is Creators Club cross-platform?
Creators Club allows supported community creations to be distributed through Train Sim World on PC and consoles, but add-on ownership remains platform-specific. Seeing a scenario in the catalogue does not mean its required route or locomotive transfers between Steam, Epic, PlayStation or Xbox.

Why is my subscribed content not showing?
Missing requirements, an account synchronisation problem or user-generated-content restrictions cause most disappearing Creators Club items.
- Verify every dependency: install the route and exact rolling-stock add-ons named on the creation page.
- Check the selected train: a livery made for one version or formation of a locomotive will not appear on every related model.
- Refresh the subscription: unsubscribe, subscribe again, return to the main menu and restart the game if it still does not load.
- Confirm the account: make sure Train Sim World is online and signed into the same Dovetail Live account used to subscribe.
- Review console privacy controls: child accounts and settings that block user-generated content can hide Creators Club entirely.
- Remove restrictive filters: catalogue filters may conceal incompatible or previously subscribed creations.
- Check whether it was withdrawn: a creator or moderator can remove an uploaded item, after which it may no longer synchronise.
If an item appears but refuses to start, inspect its dependency list before reinstalling the game. Reinstallation will not supply a missing route, locomotive or gameplay layer.
