Procedure coverage

Kent State University’s four approaches serve both ends of its single 4,000 ft runway, providing published instrument procedure coverage in either runway direction. The mix of two RNAV (GPS), one VOR and one NDB approach combines satellite-based and conventional options. With no airport diagram published, the set concentrates on approaches and supporting procedural material rather than a dedicated airfield plan. The single-runway layout also means there is no longer runway available on the field.

Surrounding chart context

Akron Fulton International has comparably broad chart coverage, while Akron-Canton Regional has a larger set. Portage County’s coverage is about half as extensive, and Medina Municipal and Wadsworth Municipal have much thinner sets. For visual navigation, the Detroit Sectional supplies wider-area context, complemented by the more focused Cleveland Terminal Area Chart.
