Procedure coverage

At Garrison Municipal, two RNAV (GPS) approaches serve two of the airport’s four runway ends. That provides instrument access from two directions, but no alternative approach type and no published procedure for the remaining ends. With only a minima sheet beyond those approaches and no airport diagram, the terminal set is narrowly centred on arrivals rather than ground or departure material.

Runways and nearby coverage

The 3,699 ft asphalt runway is 1,081 ft longer than the turf strip and is the only alignment exceeding 3,000 ft. Nearby, Washburn Municipal and New Town Municipal match Garrison’s three-chart coverage, while Mercer County Regional has only one more; Minot International and Minot AFB carry substantially broader sets. The Billings and Twin Cities sectionals add wider VFR context not supplied by the terminal procedures.
