LEA COUNTY/ZIP FRANKLIN MEML has two RNAV (GPS) approaches, each serving a different runway end. Instrument coverage therefore reaches only two of the airport’s four runway ends, with no other approach type represented. The 6,001 ft runway provides 1,592 ft more available length than the secondary alignment, a substantial difference when matching runway distance to an aircraft’s requirements. An airport diagram supports ground orientation across the two-runway layout.
LEA COUNTY RGNL has the broadest nearby procedure set, with twice the chart coverage published for E06. ARTESIA MUNI is closer in scale, while YOAKUM COUNTY and GAINES COUNTY have thinner sets; LEA COUNTY/JAL has only a single published chart. The Albuquerque Sectional adds the wider VFR context around Lovington that the airport diagram and instrument procedures do not show.
