Five approach charts serve only three of Lea County Regional’s six runway ends, so instrument coverage is concentrated on half of the available directions. The set combines three RNAV (GPS) approaches with VOR and ILS/localiser coverage rather than relying on one procedure type. Three runway alignments provide differing lengths and directions. Any use requiring more than 6,002 ft is confined to the 8,000 ft 04/22 runway; 17/35 is considerably shorter at 4,370 ft.
E06 has the broadest nearby procedure set with four charts, while KGNC, F98 and E11 each have three; E26 is much thinner with one. The Albuquerque and Dallas–Ft Worth sectional charts add overlapping VFR coverage beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
