Approach coverage across both runways

Augusta Regional’s instrument coverage reaches all four runway ends rather than favouring a single alignment. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV procedures provides both ground-based and satellite-based options, with precision guidance available on two ends. Runway 17/35 is 2,000 ft longer than 08/26, giving the chart set a notably longer north–south alignment while retaining published approaches for the shorter runway as well.

Regional chart context

Daniel Field, Aiken Regional and Thomson/McDuffie County have comparatively broad procedure sets nearby, though still smaller than Augusta’s. Burke County and Millen have much thinner chart coverage. The Atlanta and Charlotte sectionals add wider visual-route, airspace and landmark context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
