Procedure coverage

Marana Regional’s four RNAV (GPS) approaches serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published instrument approach. The set is therefore useful across more than one alignment, but offers no alternative approach type. There is also no published airport diagram.

Runways and nearby coverage

Runway 12/30 is 3,009 ft longer than 03/21, so aircraft needing the greater available length are effectively concentrated on that alignment. Nearby chart coverage varies considerably: Tucson International and Davis Monthan AFB have substantially broader procedure sets, while Ryan Field and Casa Grande Municipal are closer to Marana’s coverage. Coolidge Municipal has the thinnest set. The Phoenix Sectional adds the wider visual and geographic context absent from these airport-specific instrument procedures.
