Chandler Municipal’s two approaches both serve a single runway end: one RNAV (GPS) and one VOR. Instrument arrival coverage is therefore concentrated on one end rather than distributed across the parallel runways. With nine departure procedures against two approaches, the chart set is weighted much more heavily towards outbound routing.
The two asphalt runways are parallel, similar in length and both below 5,000 ft, so they provide no alternative alignment. Nearby chart coverage varies sharply: Mesa Gateway has a broader set, Falcon Field is closer to Chandler’s level, and Stellar Airpark and Casa Grande Municipal are much thinner; Phoenix Sky Harbor has by far the largest collection. The Phoenix Sectional adds wider visual-navigation context, while the Terminal Area Chart provides more detailed coverage around the airport.
