Uneven coverage across three runways

The four approach charts serve three of the six runway ends, combining three RNAV (GPS) procedures with ILS and localiser provision. Instrument coverage is therefore concentrated on half the available ends rather than spread across every alignment. At 10,004 ft, 05L/23R is more than twice the length of either other runway, giving the field one distinctly long alignment rather than three broadly equivalent runway choices. The airport diagram is particularly useful for interpreting this three-runway layout.

Regional chart context

Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International has the nearest comparable chart set, with nine published charts against Battle Creek’s eight. The other listed nearby fields have only three or four charts each, making their procedure coverage markedly thinner. The Chicago and Detroit sectionals add wider visual-navigation context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
