Procedure coverage at Flora

Flora’s compact instrument set provides three approaches across two runway ends, combining two RNAV (GPS) procedures with a localiser option. Coverage is therefore available in two directions rather than being concentrated on a single end. There is no published airport diagram.

The 5,003 ft paved runway 03/21 is 2,288 ft longer than turf runway 15/33. The shorter strip adds a second alignment, but offers materially less runway distance. Nearby chart coverage is broadly comparable at Olney-Noble and Effingham County Regional, slightly broader at Mount Vernon, and notably thinner at Fairfield Municipal; Salem-Leckrone sits between those levels. The St Louis Sectional adds broader VFR context around Flora beyond the terminal procedures.
