Every end of Cape Cod Gateway’s two-runway layout has a published approach. Rather than concentrating instrument coverage on one alignment, the set serves 06, 24, 15 and 33 through a mixture of ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures. Two ILS approaches provide the precision element. The runways differ in length by only 170 ft, so the second alignment does not introduce a markedly longer strip.
Among nearby fields, Cape Cod Coast Guard Air Station has matching overall chart coverage, with Martha’s Vineyard only slightly behind. Falmouth Airpark, Chatham Municipal and Provincetown Municipal have much thinner sets.
