Lansing Municipal’s five approaches serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published instrument procedure. The mix of three RNAV (GPS) approaches with VOR and localiser procedures provides both satellite-based and ground-based options. Its two runway alignments offer directional choice, although 18/36 is 607 ft longer than 09/27; the maximum available runway length is 4,002 ft.
Nearby KGYY and KMDW have markedly broader procedure sets than Lansing. Coverage at 05C is thinner, while C56 and 3HO have only small chart sets by comparison. The Chicago Sectional supplies wider regional VFR context, while the Chicago Terminal Area Chart adds a more detailed view of the surrounding terminal area beyond the procedure-specific instrument sheets.
