Lewis University’s six approaches serve all four ends of its two runways, giving both alignments published instrument coverage rather than concentrating procedures on a single direction. Four RNAV (GPS) approaches are complemented by two localiser procedures. The 6,500 ft runway provides 1,000 ft more available length than the crossing 5,500 ft runway, while both are substantial parts of the field’s configuration.
DuPage and Aurora Municipal have chart sets comparable in breadth, while Chicago Midway International has a larger collection. Morris Municipal/James R Washburn Field and Bolingbrook’s Clow International are covered much more thinly. For VFR context, the Chicago Sectional provides the wider-area view, the Terminal Area Chart adds greater detail around Chicago, and the Helicopter Route Chart supplies helicopter-specific routing information.
