Leesburg Exec’s two approach plates collectively provide ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures, but all serve the same runway end. Instrument approach coverage is therefore directionally concentrated, with no published procedure for the opposite end. The single 5,500 ft runway also leaves no alternative runway alignment, while the chart set places considerably more emphasis on standard routes and departures than on approaches.
Washington Dulles has by far the broadest nearby procedure set, with Manassas also carrying substantial coverage. Frederick is closer in scale to Leesburg, while Montgomery County is thinner and Davis has only minimal published procedure coverage.
