Winchester Regional’s sole 5,498 ft runway has published approach coverage at both ends, so the procedure set is not confined to one arrival alignment. Its four approach plates encompass ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR guidance, providing both precision and non-precision options. Aircraft requiring more than the published runway length have no longer on-field option, while the single-runway layout offers no alternative alignment. No dedicated airport diagram is published.
Eastern WV Regional/Shepherd Field and Leesburg Executive have slightly broader chart sets than Winchester, while Front Royal-Warren County is somewhat thinner. Potomac Airpark and Luray Caverns have much more limited procedure coverage. The Cincinnati and Washington sectionals provide wider VFR context, while the Baltimore-Washington Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused terminal-area depiction.
