Frederick Municipal’s ILS, localiser and three RNAV (GPS) procedures are concentrated on only two of its four runway ends. The result is a varied instrument set, but not end-to-end coverage across both runways. The 5,819 ft runway provides 2,220 ft more length than the 3,599 ft runway, so the two alignments differ substantially where runway distance is a constraint. An airport diagram supplies the corresponding ground-layout reference.
Among nearby fields, Leesburg Executive has broader procedure coverage, while Carroll County Regional/Jack B Poage Field and Montgomery County Airpark are closer to Frederick’s chart depth. Clearview Airpark and Davis have much thinner sets. For visual planning, the Washington sectional adds regional context, the Baltimore-Washington terminal chart adds focused terminal-area detail, and the helicopter route chart depicts published Balt-Wash helicopter routing.
