Lamesa Muni’s instrument coverage is compact: two RNAV (GPS) approaches serve two of the four runway ends. Published procedures therefore cover only half of the available landing directions, with no other approach type represented. The set also contains two minimums sheets but no dedicated airport diagram.
Runway 16/34 provides 5,002 ft, nearly 1,000 ft more than 07/25; aircraft needing more than 4,006 ft therefore have only the longer alignment within the published dimensions. Big Spring/Mc Mahon-Wrinkle has the broadest nearby chart set at eight. Terry County, Gaines County, Andrews County and Lubbock Executive Airpark each have three, close to Lamesa’s four. Coverage on both the Albuquerque and Dallas-Ft Worth sectionals adds broader VFR context beyond the instrument procedures.
