Approach coverage

Mc Minnville Municipal combines ILS and localiser capability with two RNAV (GPS) approaches and a VOR procedure, but coverage reaches only two of the airport’s four runway ends. The varied instrument set is therefore concentrated on selected alignments rather than distributed across both runways. Runway 04/22 is 1,080 ft longer than 17/35, a material difference when matching an aircraft’s runway-length needs to the available alignment.

Wider chart context

Among nearby fields, Portland-Hillsboro has the broadest chart set, while Aurora State and McNary Field also have substantially more coverage than Mc Minnville. Tillamook and Pearson Field are much more thinly covered. The Seattle Sectional provides broader VFR context, while the Seattle Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused terminal-scale view. Neither supplies the airport diagram absent from the published procedure set.
