San Clemente Island NALF has two instrument approach plates, but RNAV (GPS) is the only approach type and just one runway end is served. The procedure set therefore provides no published approach coverage from the opposite direction. Its 9,301 ft runway gives fixed-wing traffic a single alignment, while the two 70 ft pads provide separate helicopter landing areas.
Nearby coverage varies substantially. San Nicolas Island NOLF has the same four-chart total, while Catalina is slightly thinner with three. Zamperini Field is broader with 12 charts, rising to 31 at Long Beach and 41 at John Wayne/Orange County. The Los Angeles Sectional adds wider visual-reference and geographic context beyond the airport diagram and instrument procedures.
