Norwood Memorial’s two published approaches—one RNAV (GPS) and one localiser—serve the same runway end. The other three ends in its two-runway layout therefore have no published instrument approach this cycle. Runways 10/28 and 17/35 are both about 4,000 ft long, so the second alignment provides another direction without offering materially more runway length.
Nearby instrument-chart coverage varies sharply. General Edward Lawrence Logan International has a much broader set, while Laurence G Hanscom Field also has more coverage than Norwood. Mansfield and Taunton have somewhat thinner sets, and Hopedale’s is thinner still. The New York Sectional supplies wider regional VFR context, while the Boston Terminal Area Chart provides a more focused terminal-area view beyond the airport-specific procedure sheets.
