Approach coverage across both runways

Lowcountry Regional’s six approach plates serve all four runway ends, rather than concentrating instrument access on a single alignment. The set combines four RNAV (GPS) approaches with two ILS procedures and two localiser options, giving both satellite-based and ground-based coverage. With the two runways differing in length by only 297 ft, selecting the other alignment does not bring a substantial reduction in available runway length.

Regional chart context

Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Charleston AFB/International and Beaufort MCAS have much broader chart sets, while St George, Summerville and Beaufort Executive are more thinly covered. The Charlotte Sectional adds the wider visual and geographical context around Walterboro that is outside the airport-specific instrument procedures.
