Approach coverage

St Cloud Sky Central has instrument procedures serving all four runway ends, rather than concentrating coverage on a single direction. The mix of ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR approaches provides both satellite-based and ground-based procedure types. With 13/31 extending to 7,500 ft while 05/23 is only 3,000 ft, any aircraft requiring more than the shorter distance is limited to the 13/31 alignment.

Coverage beyond the field

Nearby airports have distinctly thinner chart sets: Buffalo Municipal has the broadest coverage among them, while Little Falls/Morrison County-Lindbergh Field has the fewest published charts. The Green Bay and Twin Cities sectionals add broader visual-planning context beyond the airport-specific diagram and terminal procedures.
