Approach coverage across both runways

Tallahassee’s procedure set serves all four ends of its two runway alignments, rather than concentrating instrument access on a single direction. ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures provide several forms of guidance, while one ILS includes CAT II/III minima. The 8,000 ft and 7,000 ft runways also avoid the sharp length disparity often created by a short secondary alignment.

Regional chart context

Nearby fields have much thinner procedure coverage. Decatur County Industrial Air Park has the broadest neighbouring set with six charts; the others listed have only three or four each. The Jacksonville Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Tallahassee that individual airport and instrument procedure charts do not show.
