Mc Guire Field’s approach set serves all four runway ends, so instrument coverage is not concentrated on a single direction. The combination of ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures provides several forms of guidance, while one ILS includes CAT II/III minima. Three departure procedures and three standard arrivals complement the extensive approach coverage.
Runway 06/24 provides 4,325 ft more length than 18/36, giving the two alignments distinctly different usable dimensions when matching aircraft requirements. Among nearby fields, Lakehurst Maxfield Field has the broadest procedure set, although its nine charts remain well short of Mc Guire Field’s coverage; the other listed airports have only six or seven each. The New York and Washington sectionals add wider VFR context, while the Philadelphia Terminal Area Chart supplies more focused coverage around the airport.
