Instrument coverage

Cochise County’s compact procedure set serves both ends of its sole 6,095 ft runway with RNAV (GPS) approaches. This gives each runway direction a published instrument arrival rather than concentrating coverage on one end. The set also includes an obstacle departure procedure, but no separate airport diagram, so its emphasis is on arrival and departure procedures rather than a dedicated ground-layout chart.

Coverage around Willcox

Bisbee Douglas International has the same number of published charts, while Safford Regional is only slightly broader. Sierra Vista Municipal has appreciably more coverage, and the sets for Davis Monthan AFB and Tucson International are broader again. The Albuquerque and Phoenix sectional charts place Cochise County within wider VFR coverage, adding surrounding visual-chart context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
