Five runway ends, one approach gap

Wilson Industrial Air Center has RNAV (GPS) procedures to five of its six runway ends. That gives instrument coverage across most of the three runway alignments, while leaving one end without a published approach. The chart set is otherwise compact, with only a minima publication accompanying the five approaches and no airport diagram.

Runway and chart context

All three runways are effectively 4,500 ft long, so changing alignment does not provide a meaningfully longer landing distance. Nearby, KGWW, KLHZ and KJNX have the same overall chart count as Wilson, while KRWI is close behind; KETC’s two-chart set is notably thinner. The Charlotte, Cincinnati and Washington sectional charts add broader VFR coverage beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
