Go PROCold Bay, Unimak Island and the Shumagin Islands anchor a sheet centred on the south-western Alaska Peninsula. It reaches from the eastern Aleutian approaches across the peninsula’s long Pacific and Bristol Bay coastlines, including numerous islands, inlets and stretches of open water.
The landscape is dominated by a rugged volcanic spine, with steep ground separating the two coasts. Routes through the area can combine mountain crossings, coastal tracking and substantial overwater sections, while the deeply cut shoreline makes the chart’s broad regional context especially useful.
The Dutch Harbor sectional continues coverage to the west, following the Aleutian chain beyond Unimak Island. To the north-east, the Kodiak sectional carries routes onward towards the upper Alaska Peninsula and the waters around Kodiak. Together, these adjoining sheets support longer journeys linking the Aleutians, the peninsula and south-central Alaska without losing the wider geographical picture at a chart boundary.

Take the GeoTIFF if you are loading the chart into moving-map software or a flight planner — it is georeferenced, so the software can place it correctly on a map, and it ships with a world file and FGDC metadata at 300 dpi (14.6 MB). Take the PDF to print it or read it on a second screen (29.1 MB); it is the same chart without georeferencing.
This is the FAA edition effective 9 July 2026, which is superseded on 3 September 2026. Visual charts are reissued every 56 days and we publish each new edition on the day it takes effect. It is for flight simulation and reference only — not for real-world navigation.
Kodiak to the north-east and Dutch Harbor to the west. Each is linked from this page, so a route running off one edge can be continued on the next sheet.
