O'Hare International Airport Update

O’Hare International Airport (KORD) scenery refreshes the Illinois hub with an updated runway designation, changing 27L/9R to 28/10, and a rebuilt Terminal 2 reflecting more accurate concourse and airline use. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it also reviews terminal assignments to keep gate layouts consistent and believable.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

O'Hare International Airport (KORD), Illinois (IL). Changes runway 27L/9R to 28/10 and updates Terminal 2.

I changed runway 27L-9R to 28-10, and re-did Terminal 2 after finding out on a United PHKO-KORD flight last week that I used the wrong concourse for United Express and the other airlines that use the Terminal 2. I also checked my other terminals for correct assignments and they seem to look right.

For those people that don't know how to install this, just place the BR2_KORD file in your add-on scenery folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\Scenery.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
