AFCAD File For FLND

Ndola International Airport (FLND) brings a more realistic layout for Zambia’s key Copperbelt gateway, refining parking, taxiways, and runway data for smoother AI flow and believable ground ops. Built with default object libraries for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it enhances stopovers at Ndola with an updated AFCAD and terrain corrections.

Ndola International Airport, Zambia, v1. By Bashir Ismail.

City of Ndola (NLA) - An important commercial center in Zambia, Ndola lies some 320 kilometers north of Lusaka.[ The Capital City of Zambia ] It is the gateway to the mineral producing region of the country. Like Lusaka, the development of Ndola has been rapid and extensive. There are many manufacturing industries here, including a major copper refinery. Although copper is still Zambia's largest foreign exchange earner and the mainstay of the national economy, the city of Ndola has established itself as a commercial and light industrial center of considerable importance, as well as being the junction and distribution center for the Copperbelt complex.

The FSX one was not convincing enough! I have tried to make it close to realistic as possible using Airport Scenery Creator v1.37 and the objects that are available for use from FSX. Hope this will make your stop-over more enjoyable!

Installation:

  1. Drop the FLND.bgl and FLND_cvx.BGL files into your FSX/Addon scenery/scenery folder, and away you go!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
