If Boeing 727-200 is widely seen as an adorable aircraft for commercial use, it's mainly owing to the fact that the narrow-body jet airliner comes with a powerful engine, increased fuel capacity and several structural improvements compared to other models. After all, there is no real competitor to 727-200 when it comes to gaining immense popularity with cargo and charter airlines.

It's true that these specially-designed aircraft can make use of smaller runways with absolute ease. Capable of flying up to 2,700 nautic miles and carrying as many as 189 passengers, these airliners are retrofitted with a hush kit to guarantee a noise-free flight. There is little surprise that Boeing 727-200 enjoys an enviable record in the aviation history.
