FSX USMC T-6A Retro

USMC T-6A VMIT-10 Retro textures give the IRIS T-6A Texan II a late-1950s Marine instrument training look, inspired by historic VMIT T-28 markings and created as a fictional Naval Aviation centennial tribute. Built for FSX SP2, it refreshes the exterior finish while preserving the aircraft’s original virtual cockpit and systems; requires the IRIS T-6A.

FSX SP2 textures only for the Iris T-6 Texan II. These are fictional what if textures to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Naval Aviation. This aircraft is repainted to represent the late 1950's era VMIT-10 (Marine Fixed Wing Instrument Training) scheme. VMIT T-28s were painted in this scheme. By John Detrick.

Instructions:

Place the folder "texture.VMIT10" into your IRIS T-6A TexanII folder.

Cut and Paste the following into your aircraft cfg:

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
