Galapagos Islands scenery expands FSX with three destinations—SEST, SEGS, and SEII—placing you west of Ecuador among rugged volcanic landscapes and iconic Darwin-era heritage. It blends stock terrain with carefully chosen library objects to enrich approaches, island hopping, and ramp detail, delivering a cohesive regional backdrop for bush flights and short-haul ops.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Three airports included: SEST, SEGS and SEII. The Galapagos is a very interesting place to visit (Darwin's theory of evolution was partly developed by his research on these islands, some time back in the 1800's) so here are the Galapagos Islands, west of Ecuador in South America. Scenery is mostly stock but some library objects are used. By Fred Guerra. (See also GALAPAGOS_FSX_UPDATE.ZIP).

Use this scenery if you do not want the modified sign on the hanger at SEST. Just drop into the scenery folder and overwrite but you should save a copy of the original just in case.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    FSX scenery was very poor. Yours is really nice work! The details and traffic improves it a lot. Yet I haven't find a good mesh but your scenery make it nice to fly! Thanks!
