FSX Galapagos Islands Scenery Update

Galapagos Islands scenery update sharpens airport environments across SEGS, SEST, and SEII in FSX, adding communication towers, revised apron layouts, and extra hangars, people, and objects for a richer island feel. It also applies targeted corrections at the other two fields, and requires Galapagos_FSX installed.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This is a small update for the Galapagos scenery (GALAPAGOS_FSX.ZIP). It adds a few details mainly at SEGS and fixes a few things at the other two airports. By Fred Guerra.

Changes to SEGS:

  • Adds communication towers.
  • Added and rearranged the aprons.
  • Added a hangar and people and some other objects.

Changes toSEST and SEII:

  • Some small corrections and changes made.

Remember you must have Galapagos_FSX installed to be able to use this scenery.

Installation:

  1. Unzip Galapagos_Update.zip any where in your system.
  2. Move the .bgl files to where you have your Galapagos_Fsx scenery .bgl's installed and overwrite.
  3. If you've installed SEST using the stock hangar, the use the .bgl inside the Alternate SEST folder. Please read the information that came with the original installation.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
